Family Mosaic Workshop at Moon Hare Studio Every Tuesday in August 2023

Come and join us at Adela’s friendly mosaic studio in Holsworthy, Devon, for an exciting and engaging Family Mosaic Workshop. These workshops are running every Tuesday in August. Whether you’re an experienced artist or a complete beginner, this workshop is designed for families to bond, have fun, and create beautiful mosaics together.

Schedule:

• Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Who Can Participate: This workshop welcomes children aged 8 and above, who must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session. Non-making adults can accompany their children without any cost. Please do not bring non participating or younger children or dogs to the studio due to limited space and unsuitable environment.

What’s Included: For a participation fee of £18 per person, each attendee will receive all the necessary materials and tools to craft their unique mosaic masterpiece. The package includes one mosaic base up to 20cm in size. Should you desire more bases to work on, additional shaped bases can be purchased at just £5 each. We offer a wide array of shapes to choose from, allowing you to let your creativity flow.

Materials: The mosaic creation process will involve using glass tiles, glass globs, and china, providing a diverse selection of vibrant colours and textures to enhance your artwork.

Guidance and Support: This workshop is designed to be informal and family-oriented, providing a nurturing space for parents to collaborate with their children. Expert mosaic artist, Adela, will be present throughout the event, offering guidance, advice, and assisting with tile cutting if needed.

Finishing Touches: After creating your mosaic masterpiece, you have two options for finishing touches. Leave your mosaic with Adela to be grouted, and you can pick it up the following day, fully completed. Alternatively, you can take home a bag of grout along with detailed instructions, giving you the option to complete the finishing touches on your own.
